Blood Donation

We are also committed to addressing the critical issue of blood scarcity by organizing numerous blood donation camps annually. With the aim of serving humanity, we encourage people to participate in these camps and educate them about the importance of blood donation. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to alleviate blood shortages, which can lead to the loss of life. Our humanitarian service is reflected in our commitment to saving lives through these initiatives.

Independence Day

Independence Day is a momentous occasion for all Indians, marking the country’s freedom from British rule. Every year on August 15th, we hoist the national flag, sing the national anthem, and celebrate with cultural programs. Local children are distributed flags, sweets and dry foods. This day honors the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and strengthens the spirit of unity and patriotism among the people.

Republic Day

We at Tufanganj Rescue and Relief Foundation also celebrate Republic Day on January 26th, honors the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. Our organization marks this day by hoisting the national flag, singing the national anthem, and engaging children in cultural activities. It is a reminder of India’s commitment to democracy, justice, and equality, reflecting the core values of our nation.

Children’s Day

Every year, on November 14th, we celebrate Children’s Day, honoring the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru. On this day, we organize awareness programs on child rights. We also arrange fun activities for children, providing them with meals, gifts, and study kits to encourage their education. The event fosters a sense of belonging and support, ensuring every child’s rights to a joyful and prosperous childhood.

Rabindra Jayanti

On 25th of Baisakh, we celebrate Rabindra Jayanti, honoring the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore. Our organization hosts cultural programs where children and members perform songs, dances, and recite poems. This day is dedicated to appreciating Tagore’s contributions to literature, music, and culture, promoting his ideals of education, humanism, and unity.

National Youth Day

Every January 12th, we celebrate National Youth Day on Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, honoring India’s greatest youth icon. We, the members gather to garland his statue and pay tribute to his legacy. Our founder delivers a motivational speech, inspiring everyone to follow his ideals and contributions, encouraging the youth to strive for excellence and shape a brighter future for the nation.
